Specifications of the Remet RT-630 PTO Disc Chipper

The Remet RT630 features:

A discharge chute that can be rotated 360˚ to direct the stream of chips in the preferred direction.
Adjustable wood chip size by easily altering four replaceable wear-resistant steel blades relative to the anvil counter-blade.
Abrasion-resistant blades (HARDOX 500 steel) bolted to a 24.4" (620mm) diameter, 99 lb. cutting disc, which acts as a flywheel to maintain rotational inertia under load.
Able to cut wooden materials up to 4.7" (12cm) in diameter.
Roller bearings, which are lubricated via grease points in the bearing housings. 
A tow ball is included to allow for towing a trailer from the chipper.
Standard 540 RPM PTO speed for optimal chipper performance and efficient power transfer from the tractor.

Please note: The Remet RT630 disc chipper is designed for tractors in the 15–45 hp range. Power is delivered through the tractor’s PTO shaft (right-hand rotation), ensuring smooth and reliable operation. For added protection, the included safety switch is designed to be wired directly into the tractor’s PTO circuit, enhancing operator safety during use.

Additional Options

• A PTO shaft with a friction clutch or an alternative PTO shaft with a shear bolt is also available separately.

*We recommend the use of a friction clutch PTO to protect both the disc chipper and the tractor from excessive shock loads.

• Chip baggers for efficient direct wood collection as chips are produced.

• 39" (1m) vertical discharge chute extension to discharge chips to a higher level, making it easier to load chips directly into trailers, tall containers, or into larger piles.
