Returns Policy

You can return most new, unopened items within 30 days of date of purchase for a full refund. We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error such as  receipt of an incorrect or defective item. Note the meaning of defective, in this case, means outside the manufacturer's quality control standards and specifications. Please initiate a return via your original order confirmation email or through your Customer Account. Alternately, please contact us via email for a Return of Materials Authorization (RMA) number.

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF POWERED EQUIPMENT THAT HAS BEEN FILLED WITH GAS, OIL, OR HAS OTHERWISE BEEN MADE READY FOR USE. IF RETURNED, THESE ITEMS WILL BE DEEMED UNFIT FOR SALE AS NEW AND NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). Please note special order, custom-built, or custom-configured equipment is non-refundable unless mutually determined to be initially defective. At this time, this last condition only applies to large equipment ordered via a formal quotation process.

If a product is damaged during delivery to you via FedEx, USPS, UPS, or a freight carrier, note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt and request an inspection report on the damaged shipment from the carrier to be forwarded to you within 10 business days. Forward the inspection report and original packing list to Northern Woodsmen LLC and we will file a claim on your behalf and replace the damaged item(s).
