As requested by several of our customers, we now stock UV stabilized transparent rain caps with tie downs for our face cord vented firewood bags and 1/2 face cord vented firewood bags. These caps are great for keeping your seasoned firewood snow and rain free. We do not recommend using these on unseasoned firewood wood until all the free water has been eliminated.

Recommendations for Use:

• Place on loaded firewood bags after all free water has been eliminated from the firewood. Firewood should be left uncovered until free water has evaporated to reduce the chance of mold. 
• Make sure the lifting loops on the bag being covered are tucked under the cap. This UV protection of the rain cap will help reduce UV damage to the underlying loops.
• Place bulk bags of firewood on pallets to avoid pulling moisture from the ground.
• Tie each of the caps corner tie down straps to the pallet below to prevent the wind from blowing the cap off. 
• Store unused bulk bags and rain caps out of direct sunlight when not in use.
