Built For Life Manufacturing FM-800 Fork Mounted Sawbuck

Durable and practical, this fork mounted Sawbuck from Built For Life Manufacturing mounts to the forks of your tractor or skid loader. With this sawbuck you can set the height of the workstation to match your ideal cutting height while keeping your saw clear of the ground. 

How it Works:

1. With the FM-800 mounted your tractor or skid loader forks, tilt the forks slightly forward from horizontal and under the log to be processed.
2. Roll the FM-800 backwards until the log is captured and the log rolls on to the FM-800 cradles.
3. Roll the FM-800 forward until it is horizontally level and supporting the log while also lifting the log to your ideal cutting height.
4. Set the parking brake on the tractor or skid loader, and proceed to buck up the log into 16" blocks.
5. Unload the blocks directly onto your splitter by hand and proceed with the spitting process.

Notes:

• During the sequence above, reposition your equipment as your woodyard layout requires.
• The FM-800 can also be used to pile up blocks for later processing by rolling the load sufficiently forward.
